Local Elections 2009

County Council elections will take place in at least four of the counties in Eastern Region in 2009. These will almost certainly be on 4th June, to coincide with the European Parliament elections. Whether or not County Council elections will also take place in Suffolk and Norfolk is not yet known as this depends on the outcomes of the current process to consider the introduction of Unitary Authorities in those counties.
