Turning the Air Green Poster

TV‘s Mock The Week’ and ‘Live At The Apollo’ star stand up comedian ANGELA BARNES headlines ‘Turning The Air Green’, a night of high class comedy and satire at the Theatre Royal, Bury St. Edmunds on Sunday 18th June.

Angela will perform a special one-off 60 minutes set having just completed a highly successful national tour of her one woman show  ‘Hot Mess’. She appears in Bury in a double-header with MARTIN ROWSON, The Guardian’s award winning senior cartoonist, whose own 60 minutes stage show ‘Drawn and Quartered’ is an illustrated guide to the history of British visual satire and political cartoons.

The pair of laughter makers are giving their services in aid of the Eastern Region of The Green Party which is organising the evening to raise funds for a campaign to elect party co-national leader Adrian Ramsay as the first Green MP in East Anglia. He is its parliamentary candidate for the new Waveney Valley constituency.

ANGELA BARNES - Stand up, stories and jokes from the star of BBC Two’s Mock the Week and Live at the Apollo and to date the only clean sweep winner of Richard Osman's House of Games!

Angela is a firm favourite on BBC Radio 4, having featured on The Now Show and The News Quiz – including a stint as the host. She has also hosted BBC Radio 4 Extra’s Newsjack.
