Waveney Valley Action Weekend 12-13 April
There has never been a more important time to get a Green MP from East Anglia!
Join us for a weekend of campaigning with Green Party Co-Leader Adrian Ramsay, who is standing to become the next MP for Waveney Valley.
Our action days are days of fun, excellent company and good food. Full campaign training will be given and there will be plenty of time to socialise, meet Adrian Ramsay and other Greens from across the country. Choose between Friday or Saturday, or come for both and stay overnight at our venue – the quirky Swan Hotel in the heart of Harleston.

20 April: An evening with Jonathon Porritt
You are invited to an evening with environmentalist, writer and Green Party legend Jonathon Porritt.
The evening will raise funds for the Eastern Region Green Party’s campaign to get Adrian Ramsay elected as the region’s first Green MP at the next General Election.
The event will take place at the beautiful Abbey Hall, just outside Eye, which lies in the heart of the Green Party’s target constituency, the Waveney Valley. The evening will consist of two parts, and you can sign up for one or both.

20-26th April: Action Week with Jonathon Porritt
We are thrilled that Jonathon Porritt is visiting us for a week in April to support Adrian’s campaign. Sign up for one or more days to campaign with one of the Green Party’s true legends.
Jonathon Porritt is one of Britain’s most eminent writers and environmental campaigners, with a long track record in the Green movement. He was Co-Chair of the Green Party between 1980 and 1983, but has also been Director of Friends of the Earth (1984-90) and Chair of the UK Sustainable Development Commission between 2000 and 2009, providing high-level advice to Government Ministers. In 1996, he co-founded Forum for the Future, a leading international sustainable development charity, working with business and civil society to accelerate the shift toward a sustainable future. He is President of The Conservation Volunteers and is involved in the work of many other NGOs and groups.
His latest book, Hope in Hell (Simon & Schuster, 2020, revised 2021) is a powerful ‘call to action’ on the Climate Emergency.
We are honoured that Jonathon is spending a week with us campaigning in the Waveney Valley and hope you will join us too!
